Dear Valued Patients of North Penn Periodontal Associates:

On behalf of the entire team at North Penn Periodontal Associates, I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy during this unique time in our lives. We have been busy preparing for your safe return to our office. I want to share some of the changes that you will notice when we welcome you back.

  • In keeping with the American Dental Association (ADA)and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and recommendations, we are practicing social distancing throughout the office as well as changing our verification, check in and check out procedures.
  • You will be contacted by phone prior to your dental appointment and we will triage your visit by asking you some health questions, inquiring about your current health, and discussing your expectations upon returning to our office.
  • Please visit our website at www.northpennperio.com. Go to patient information and then patient forms to print and complete any necessary forms prior to your visit. Then bring the completed forms with you when you come in for your visit.
  • When you arrive at the building, we ask that you remain in your car and call us at 215.368.5110 to let us know that you are here. We will let you know when you can come into the office as we do practice social distancing. Only a certain number of patients are permitted in the office at one time.
  • Please wear a mask into the office. Hand sanitizer is provided.
  • Only you, the patient, can come into the office for your appointment. No companions or additional family members can accompany you into the office. The exception is for a child who will have one parent or guardian with them for their appointment.
  • We will take your temperature with a touchless thermometer when you enter the office.
  • Adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommendations, we do not allow cell phone use in the office.
  • Clear plexiglass screens (sneeze guards) have been installed at the front desk to minimize exposure to airborne pathogens.
  • You will notice that in keeping with ADA,CDC, and OSHA guidelines, we have removed all magazines and books from our reception area.
  • As we always have, we continue to utilize our personal protective equipment (PPE) for the safety and health of our patients and our entire team. Face masks, face shields, disposable gowns, and air purifiers with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters will be seen throughout the office. We have always followed health and safety guidelines and will continue to do so.

Thank you for your patience during this time as we have missed you all and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. Howard Gross and Team

Welcome to Our Practice

We are specialists in Periodontics and Implantology. Our practice specializes in treatment of gum disease, cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance your smile, and dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth to create a comfortable dentition and beautiful smile. We also diagnose and treat oral lesions and facial pain.

Our commitment to every patient is easy to understand. We develop a custom plan of treatment with the goal of achieving total dental health. This is defined as being free of all disease and discomfort with a pleasing, aesthetic smile. This plan consists of three basic principles:

  • Stop all active dental disease
